Dr. Anees Ahmed

A seasoned leader with decades of service in public life. He has held several key positions in Maharashtra Government and Indian National Congress. Elected as MLA from Central Nagpur for three consecutive terms. He served as Minister of State for Higher and Technical Education (2001-04), Cabinet Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development (2004-08) and later as Cabinet Minister for Textiles, Minority Welfare, Sports and Youth Welfare. Employment and Self Employment, Ex-Servicemen Welfare (2008-09).
He has also served as Guardian minister for Bhandara and Chandrapur Districts, Member of Hajj Committee and Secretary of the All India Congress Committee. His career reflects consistent dedication to education, social welfare and youth empowerment

Holds a PhD in Physiotherapy and is currently completing a second PhD in Health Professions Education. He is an International FAIMER Fellow from Philadelphia USA. With over 200 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact Q1 and Q2 journals, an H-index of 21, and more than 1,600 citations.
Founder & CEO of AD Vivum Education & Research, driving innovation in healthcare research and education.
Serves as Adjunct/Visiting Faculty in several institutions and actively contributes to academic development through extensive international experience across USA, Canada, UAE, Qatar, Hong Kong, Cameroon and Saudi Arabia.
Delivered over 100 keynotes and hands-on workshops on research writing, academic publishing, AI in health, and digital innovation.
Author of 4 textbooks and holder of 4 international patents in AI and rehabilitation technologies.
Recipient of the Fellowship of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (FIAP, 2025), Distinguished Service Award (2020), and Significant Contribution Award (2013) from the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
Serves on the editorial boards of several international peer-reviewed journals in health sciences and education.
